Since the establishment of the Office of Building Research, over one million dollars of
research and service funds has been awarded to the members of the Office of Building
Research, School of Architecture at Louisiana State University. Funds have been received from

The opportunities and involvement in the area of building research and service continue
to expand at an encouraging rate. Particular attention is now being given to investigation

- Structural Forms and Systems
- Building Materials
- Computer Aided Design
The expertise of the faculty and their research and service experiences have developed to
a point of sufficient intensity to perform a variety of research and service projects.
We hope that these activities will offer out faculty unprecedented opportunities for
intellectual and professional growth.
